George Grett (1862-1902)

The remains of George Grett, who had been working in the woods for the Red Lake Transportation Co. at Nebish, was brought in to Undertaker Naylor Monday night. While in the act of getting out of the way of one falling tree he ran directly in the way of another, one of the limbs of which struck him on the forehead, killing him instantly. He was forty years of age and unmarried. (Bemidji Pioneer, Jan 23, 1902)
