At the time of the 1920 census, John Bye was the owner. He was a laborer at the box factory, wife Christine, daughters Selma, Jane, Ellen. His brother Andrew also lived with them and worked at the box factory. John and Andrew born in Norway.
The next owners were Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Peterson. (1921-1925) Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Peterson and family, 909 America avenue , have as their house guests, Miss Mabel Johnson of Stanley, Wis., and Miss Anna Perault of Cass Lake, Miss Johnson leaving for her home today. (Aug 16, 1922)
Louis V. Larson and his wife Bertha lived here from 1927 – 1942. He was a scaler for lumber company in 1930; salesman for the Bemidji Distributing Company in 1942.
Herman and Inga Pearson were long time residents here. They were living here by 1953. He was a painter. He died in 1974. Inga Pearson lived here through 1989. She had married Herman Pearson on December 3, 1938. They had three children: Judy, Roger and Jerry. Her jobs included Sales Clerk at S&L; Laundry Service at Birch Hall at BSC and Sales Associate at the Style Center women’s clothing store until her retirement. For 17 years, she thoroughly enjoyed being a volunteer Foster Grandparent at the Kindergarten Center.
