Flashing a red hot passing game, the Bemidji Lumberjacks closed out their season with a 5-3 record, downing Brainerd 24-0 at Brainerd. Bill Lawrence passed to Jim Johnson and Paul Stennes for two talliies and scored the other two himself. Seniors ending their careers were Lawrence, Johnson, Stennes, John Ainley, John Wrolstad, Bob Nelson and Jerry Johnson. (Oct 31, 1956)
