1011 Twelfth Street

This single-family home was built in 1939. It sets back a bit from the street and has a huge yard. It was the home of Walter and Alice Frost. He was a salesman for McClernan Furniture in Bemidji. They moved here from 723 9th St. They had children Helen, Barbara, Lawrence and Norman. I knew Larry Frost from high school. He was part of a small music combo that played for high school dances and so on. They moved to 713 – 14th St. between 1946-1951.

Stanley and Glendole Tweten lived here in 1956. He was a buttermaker for the Bemidji Coop Creamery. (1956) – moved to Solway
