Lutheran Church, Ten Lakes Township, Burns (1944)

The Lutheran congregation of Ten Lakes township lost their church Thursday night by fire. The building had been used during the week for school purposes and there had been some fire in the stove during the day. It is not known how the fire started. The church had been erected by the Lutheran people by using materials from several CCC camp buildings. At the time this is written school authorities of Beltrami county had not arraged for school to resume in Ten Lakes township. (The Northland Times, Oct 6, 1944)
