Martin Kruger, a woodsman, was slugged with a sling shot and robbed of $6 in the rear of a Minnesota avenue saloon last night. A man named McGuire, who followed him out of the place just before the affair occurred, was arrested today at Cass Lake and must answer to the charge. (Bemidji Pioneer, Feb 2, 1904)
