The <em>Minnesota House<\/em> at 314 America Avenue was operated by G. O. Bang in 1910, then by Jens Johnson and then by Joseph Blondo. \u00a0Blondo purchased the <em>Minnesota House,<\/em> remodeled and refurnished it in 1921. \u00a0Opening day at the <em>Blondo\u2019s Hotel<\/em> was December 1, 1921. He advertised beds for 25\u00a2 and 50\u00a2 a night. The hotel ran on the American plan. Meals cost 25 cents. Blondo had previously run the <em>West Hotel<\/em> and also the <em>City Hotel<\/em>.
