After 42 years of living on the same farm, sharing the same seasonal workload, Mr. and Mrs. George Russell, Sr., decided they might be missing out on the warmer weather of California. They decided to sell everything and make Santa Ana, California, their retirement\u00a0home.\u00a0Six children, now grown\u00a0with families, trace their roots\u00a0to this closely-knit homestead\u00a0near Cass Lake. Together they\u00a0built a conservative home in\u00a01943, while living in a nearby\u00a0log cabin. Two brothers from St. Cloud bought the property and a huge auction was held at the farm.
