West, after putting in two weeks in Bemidji, succeeded in organizaing a very good tent of the order of the Maccabees, holding two meetings on Monday and Tuesday evenings respectively for the initiation of candidates. The following officers were elected:<\/p>\n<p>Past Sir Knight \u2013 D. B. Newman; Lieut. Commander &#8211; C. W. Speelman; Commander \u2013 Jay L. Reynolds; Record Keeper \u2013 Chas. Schroeder; Finance Keeper \u2013 C. C. Doty; Chaplain \u2013 J. H. Haner; Physician \u2013 D. H. Newman; Sergeant \u2013 Theo. Welte; Master of Guards \u2013 M. Phibbs; First Guard \u2013 K. C. Lindberg; Second Guard \u2013 Ed Kaiser; Sentinel \u2013 James Brennan; Pisket \u2013 W. A. Pike.
